So today Zeke and I were sitting at the table playing with legos when Scarlet needed to go outside, I turn around to open the slider and what do I see, SNOW falling! It was so fun, Zeke stood on a chair trying to catch some in his hand and yelled mama its almost like Christmas! For some reason he thinks it can only snow at Christmas.
Anyway it is freezing cold outside and the snow is not staying on the ground yet but it is getting thicker as it falls so maybe later today. What is funny is today for Zeke's class his teacher planned a winter wonderland with literally thousands of pieces of tissue paper balled up into snowballs and they are supposed to wear big jackets and mittens and hats, how fitting is it that is it actually snowing!

I never realized how much snow ball fights were, until this past weekend! I went up to Oakhurst with a bunch of middle schoolers and snow covered the campground...needless to say I had a flurry of fun. Merry Christmas Zeke!

It snowed at our house in Lake Arrowhead today too. It was 27 when we left the mountains at about 9:30 am. Thats cold!
We were up at the summit about 10 minutes from my house Monday and it snowed too! It was falling so fast and heavy, the kids were in heaven. I felt quite rebellious driving in it with no snow chains, it was very exciting. Yay for winter surprises!
