This post is late, but that is how I roll.
So about a month or so ago all the kids got haircuts.
Some were planned, some were not...
I wanted to cut the boys hair and then one night something happened that forced me to get all the kids hair cut!
I went out to dinner with some girl friends, in the middle of laughing and throwing peanut shells on the ground I got a text from Dan, it included the picture of Sofia crying and a handful of cut hair.
The day I dreaded and had been waiting for had arrived.
Sofia found the scissors that Zeke left out and gave herself a serious trim, one whole side of her hair, and it was short.
So the next day Amy Endecott came to our rescue and cut Sofia's hair.
I actually really love it, it looks so healthy and cute.
I do get sad when I see the pics of how long it was, all the curl is gone too. :(
So then we decided to give everyone a trim, Zeke wanted to keep his long hair we just got it out of his eyes and Moses got a cute little faux hawk.
Krista Kossol did an amazing job on the boys.
Zeke said he was sorry for leaving the scissors out, plus he said, Mom don't worry I put them away right after she cut her hair. Cool thanks dude...
I've decided its just a right of passage for my kids.

When my oldest girl, Ella, was 4 she took scissors to her own hair. I made her a promise (and banked HARD on the hope that her vanity would spare me ever having to follow thru) that I would shave her bald if she ever cut her own hair again. Flash forward to age 9... she has successfully talked her 2 younger sisters out of cutting their own hair more than once but she REALLY wanted bangs. So one day she cut them herself. I tell you what... just the reminder of that promise was enough punishment. So, when all she got for a consequence was doing her brother's chores for a week - she was too relieved I wasn't breaking out the clippers to be upset about her punishment!

I love Sofia's hair! Long and short! All the kids look so adorable! I'm dreading the day our girl tries to cut their own hair...I know it's coming...seems like all kinds do it.
